The Kobe Institute was established in 1991 to internationally collaborte and exchange information in the academic and education fields based on the Japan-United Kingdom and Japan-Europe associations. It is a nonprofit organization operated by the fund from St Catherine's College (Oxford), UK. The major role of the Kobe Institute is to hold "Oxford-Kobe Seminars" as an international seminar house, but it also accepts domestic seminars and training courses based on the membership system.

Announncement

We would like to announce that the Kobe Institute will terminate its activity as of the end of July 2010, because our initial mission of providing services for international academic events has been fully achieved in the past 20 years since the Kobe Institute was founded.

The major activity, the Oxford-Kobe Seminars, will be held in St Catherine's College after August 2010.

We would like to sincerely thank you all for strongly support our activities.
